Tim Ross.Principal and Strategy Director

Tim Ross is a founding partner and principal at Kendall Ross Brand Development and Design. As one of two managing partners, Tim is responsible for the day to day operations of the company. These duties include client acquisition, client development, strategic planning and financial analysis.


Tim works directly with clients in the areas of strategic planning, competitive positioning, development of marketing messages and the extension of those messages across a broad range of media. His retail expertise includes successful repositioning programs for major retail centers such as Forest City’s Victoria Gardens, Kemper Development’s Bellevue Collection and various retail properties across the US. In addition Tim works on the development of innovative retail strategies for clients like Hallmark Cards, Kensington, Wells Lamont, Campbell’s Soup, Sahale Snacks and Coinstar.


Tim has been recognized by Retail World Today, American Graphic Design, Rebrand, The Boston Globe, TIME Magazine, Communication Arts, Retail Trends, Global Shop, Jones Report and HOW Magazine. Prior to establishing Kendall Ross, Tim worked at Landor Associates developing programs for retail brands such as Haggen Foods, Microsoft and Krusteaz Muffin mixes. He is a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, a past board member of the AIGA Seattle Chapter and a contributing columnist to various industry publications. Tim also speaks regularly on business and design issues at the School of Visual Concepts.
