David Kendall
Principal and Creative Director
David Kendall specializes in the development and re-positioning of retail brands ranging from consumer goods and packaging to retail shopping centers. His expertise is in helping clients build premium retail brands and brand experiences that successfully position products, services and destinations to their core customers. David's work focuses on helping clients demonstrate and understand the value of their brand in a way that is distinct, authentic and relevant to their customers.
As a founder and principal of Kendall Ross Brand Development and Design, he has created and directed numerous design programs. His design expertise has played a key role in numerous retail design programs for Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square, Bellevue Place and The Bellevue Collection. He has extensive experience developing consumer packaging programs for Precept Brands, Washington Hills Winery and Tully's Coffee. His firm recently won Package Design magazine's Makeover Challenge for their product packaging work.
David has a BFA in Graphic Design and a BA in Japanese Language and Literature from the University of Washington and an MFA in Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, where he graduated summa cum laude. He is an active member in the design community as a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, Design Management Institute, Seattle Ad Club and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He regularly teaches and lectures on design and brand issues around the country. |
