TAKING A BRAND TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Sahale Snacks, the number one brand in the natural trail mix category, employs "culinary magic" when it produces its sophisticated flavored, nutritional snacks. Faced with growing competition in a category it helped create, Sahale Snacks sought some branding magic to be applied to its line of award-winning, premium nut blends. Kendall Ross worked with the management team to undertake a complete brand and packaging overhaul for their entire product line. Research conducted by Kendall Ross showed that customers did not understand the product qualities and were hesitant to purchase it. Therefore, key considerations included creating a more engaging package design, a revised naming structure, a more customer friendly identity in addition to developing a consistent brand architecture that could be extended to future product lines. The resulting new packaging line of six products is currently available at such retailers as Target, Whole Foods, REI, Costco, Kroger Stores, Wegmans and Amazon.com nationwide.
