Kendall Ross Develops New Packaging for
Sergeant's Pet Care Products

Creates new line of packaging for one of the oldest pet care companies in the nation


SEATTLE -- August 2, 2007 -- Selected to work with one of the icons in the United States pet supplies industry, Kendall Ross, a strategic brand development and design firm based in Seattle, recently completed new packaging for one of the main product lines for Sergeant's Pet Care Products. The new look may appear on shelves later this year.

"This was a great opportunity for our office to work on an icon brand," said David Kendall, principal and creative director at Kendall Ross. "The new look dramatically updates the entire line while introducing a bit of fun."

Using fun illustrations and a black and white primary color scheme complemented with bold accent colors, the team at Kendall Ross sought to balance the sophisticated design approach with a sense of playfulness.

"We wanted the product to feel more like a health and beauty product for pets, rather than just another general pet care product," added Kendall.

Sergeant's Pet Care Products, founded in 1868, is one of America's oldest manufacturers and marketers of pet supplies with over 400 pet products.

"The design team at Kendall Ross provided an incredible fresh look," said Patsy Sumner, Director of Marketing Services for Sergeant's Pet Care Products. "They really addressed the challenges of the packaging with a design that will really stand out on the shelf."
